Mega Power is notable for being the UK’s first console-specific magazine to carry a cover-mounted CD demo disc (namely the Thunderhawk demo, which came with issue 4). From issue ten onwards, each issue of Mega Power sported a Mega-CD demo disc. For some issues, due to the difficulties in securing a new demo every month, demo discs were recycled from previous issues of Sega Pro CD. Mega Power lasted for at least 24 issues.
