Sega Force Mega ran for just seven issues in total, with the seventh issue being a “best of” special, containing reprinted material from the first six issues (along with some reprinted material from issues of Sega Master Force). The magazine came into being when the multi-console Sega Force magazine was split into a Mega Drive magazine (Sega Force Mega) and a Master System magazine (Sega Master Force).
