Sega XS Classics came to be when the old Sega XS was incorporated into Sega Pro as a pull-out tips section. Unlike Sega XS, Sega XS Classics didn’t publish any new material; instead, it reprinted old guides that had been previously published in past issues of Sega XS. Each issue of Sega XS Classics was themed in some way (e.g. “Sonic special”, “Beat’em-up special”, …etc). There were only five issues of Sega XS Classics before it was replaced with the regular Sega XS — though it should be noted that this was merely a name-change, because the reborn Sega XS was also a reprints magazine, and it also themed each issue in some way.
